Convenient Location

From JR Osaka Station, it takes 8 minutes on foot through the underground shopping arcade, “Whity Umeda.” In addition, a 24-hour convenience store is located next to the hotel. The area is also great for sampling some of Osaka’s specialty foods, such as “Okonomiyaki” (Japanese style pancakes). Yodobashi Camera, a large-scale electronics retail store, is 10 min. away by foot. This location is certainly convenient for any guest.

Accommodations include 93 guest rooms and a TULLY'S Coffee on the first floor. Each floor has vending machines offering various beverages. All guest rooms are furnished with bath tubs, showers and western-style toilets. High-speed internet is also available for free.

Traditional Japanese-style rooms with straw-mat floors are available on the 8th floor.

Also on the same floor guests can view a miniature Japanese-style stone garden.

Double-bedded rooms include Serta mattresses, commonly seen in 5 star hotels in America, which offer a more comfortable night’s sleep.

Sightseeing and Accessibility

Traditional places such as Osaka castle are easily accessible by subway Higashi Umeda station,a 5 minute walk from the hotel. A 30 minute train ride leads to Kyoto, the historical center of Japan, and Kobe, a port town with a beautiful night view.

To Tokyo: JR Osaka station to JR Shin-Osaka station. Change to the bullet train. Average time 3 hours.

To Kyoto: Hankyu Umeda station to Kyoto Shijo-Kawaramachi station. Average time 44 minutes. Other option: JR Osaka to JR Kyoto. Average time 29 minutes(by Special Rapid Service).

To Nara: JR Osaka to JR Tsuruhashi on the Osaka Loop Line. Change to the Kintetsu Line toward Nara. Average time 54 minutes.

To Kobe: Hanshin Umeda station to Kobe Sannomiya station on the Hanshin Line. Average time 33 minutes. Other option: JR Osaka to JR Sannomiya. Average time 20 minutes(by Special Rapid Service).

To Universal Studios Japan: JR Osaka station to Universal City station on the JR Line. Average time 13 minutes.

To Osaka Castle: Higashi Umeda station to Tanimachi 4-chome station on the Tanimachi Subway Line. Average time 8 minutes.

To Shinsaibashi: Umeda station to Shinsaibashi station on the Midosuji Subway Line. Average time 7 minutes.
